My name is Jeff Jack. I’m writing about the Director of Product, Agentic AI role, and I wanted to provide some context that a resume can’t easily hold.

There are three connections between my work and Internet Brands that I think are worth noting.

I helped build the company that became Internet Brands.

In the late 1990s, I was the Executive Producer and Head of Digital Marketing at CarsDirect. I was part of the team that built the company from its earliest days through its growth to a $3 billion valuation. CarsDirect went on to spawn Internet Brands as its umbrella organization — the company that exists today grew out of what we built.

I mention this not as a credential, but as context. I have some understanding of how Internet Brands came to be, how these properties were built, and what it takes to scale a consumer platform in your core verticals.

I’m currently building in your legal vertical.

I’m developing an AI-powered attorney finder — a recruiting platform that uses intelligent matching to connect law firms with the right talent. It sits in the same problem space as Avvo, Nolo, and Martindale, and has given me direct experience with the challenges of legal discovery and matching.

I’m aware that Martindale-Avvo has been studying how AI is reshaping legal search — the shift from “search and click” to “ask and chat.” The product I’m building is an attempt to meet that same shift with working software.

I build with agentic AI as a daily practice.

I use large language models to architect, design, and ship full-stack production applications — from data modeling and API design through frontend deployment. I work with Claude, LangGraph, MCP, and the same toolchain your engineering team is building on.

This isn’t a theoretical interest. It’s my working methodology. The attorney finder, a financial planning platform, a property intelligence tool — these are all production applications I’ve built and shipped this way.

I’ve included two documents: a resume tailored to this role, and a short set of observations on how agentic AI might extend across Internet Brands’ portfolio — informed by what your teams have already shipped.

Thank you for your time.
